Named Accountable GP

All patients have a named GP who is responsible for their overall care at the practice.  If you would like to know who is your Named GP, please contact the surgery.  If you have a preference as to which GP that is, the surgery will make reasonable efforts to accommodate this request.

The named accountable GP will take lead responsibility for the co-ordination of all services required under the contract and ensure they are delivered to each of their patients where required (based on the clinical judgement).  These responsibilities do not change the way you access care outside of our opening hours.

This does not mean that they will be the only GP who provides your care.  Patients are free to see any GP or nurse subject to availability.  As all patients have electronic medical records, all clinicians in the surgery have the most accurate and up-to-date information and will be able to help you.
